FILE ALL PAST YEARS RETURNS NOW TO AVOID
PROBLEMS -"CATCH UP SERVICE"
If
you have not filed your tax return for many years, contact us about our
"catch-up" service where we can help you get current before the IRS sends
you a notice or does something worse. After the IRS sends you a
notice, it may be too late to claim the foreign earned income exclusion and
you will have to pay tax on all of your income during those years even if
previously you could have excluded part. If you file tax returns, the
statute of limitations will also start to run. If you file no tax return,
the statute never runs and the IRS can assess taxes many years later.
Our fees are reasonable, and often less than most clients expect. If
you give us many prior year returns to prepare for you, we will be
able to give you a special "bulk rate" discount. Since Don
Nelson is an attorney, almost anything you tell him is subject to the
protection of "attorney - client privilege" and he cannot be forced to
reveal it.
Now is a good time to file all those past due
returns and pave the way to return to the US or receive a possible
inheritance without worry. We have help a large number of expatriates do
this without any of them incurring any problems. Click here do download our

HOW WE PREPARE RETURNS
Our clients live all around the world. If you ask us to prepare your U.S. Federal and state (if applicable) tax returns we will send you a tax questionnaire by email, mail or fax. When you return the questionnaire, we will prepare the return and contact you with questions or possible tax saving opportunities or strategies. We will then forward the completed return to you by mail, DHL, Federal Express, or by email using PDF formats. All you have to do then is to mail it to the IRS. Our fees on a simple expatriate IRS tax return begin at $550.
Fees for more complicated returns and State returns are very reasonable. We promptly respond to all questions or problems by email, phone or fax. We have been doing this for
35 years
and understand how to serve U.S. expats. Click here to do download our

in MSWord format and can be filled out by hand or using your computer.

OFFERS IN COMPROMISE AND PAYMENTS PLANS WITH THE IRS
AND STATE TAX AGENCIES
Many U.S.
expatriates are living abroad due to large tax debts back in the U.S. to the
IRS. If you file all past due returns you are eligible to make an
"Offer in Compromise" which usually allows taxpayers to settle past due tax
bills, including interest and penalties for only a fraction of the amount
owed. The IRS has recently liberalized the program and made it easier to
have offers accepted. They now charge $150 to file an application. We are experts with offers in compromise and
have successfully helped our clients achieve great savings and the ability
to return or retire in the US. If the IRS does not accept your Offer,
you have appeal rights or you can enter into a payment plan which puts all
collection actions on hold so long as you continue to make the agreed upon
payments and you can then return to the US and take up residency without
fearing the IRS. We have had a high success rate with these programs for our
clients. |
INTERNATIONAL ESTATE PLANNING FOR EXPATRIATES
FINANCIAL, ESTATE AND RETIREMENT PLANNING:
With proper financial planning and investment guidance you
can reach your goals and retire in comfort. We can provide you with
the "roadmap" to get there. With proper planning you can avoid U.S.
probate on your estate and reduce or eliminate any U.S. estate taxes (which
still apply to U.S. Citizens wherever they live in the world and to all of
their assets worldwide). We will design a personal estate plan to fit your unique situation.
We will advise you on how to properly provide for the disposition of the
U.S. assets as well as your assets located abroad. Such planning can
save tens of thousands of dollars in legal fees upon your death as well as
an untold amount of potential foreign estate taxes. Contact us if you want to stop
procrastinating and provide for an efficient and orderly disposition of your
estate to the heirs you name, rather than those picked by the law.
We will then forward you an expatriate or international estate planning
questionnaire. |
